never planned to write a theology book about pit bulls. But after losing three dogs in two years and reluctantly rescuing a fourth, he discovered that his best theology professors had four legs and bad breath.

Everything changed for Theodore in 2002 when a life-changing encounter with Jesus began his passionate pursuit of living with God and making Him known—a pursuit that has shaped over two decades of study and ministry.

Through TED Talking (TEDtalking.life)—his podcast and content platform—Theodore hosts meaningful discussions that lead to encounters with the reality that transforms from the inside out. As a life coach, personal trainer, nutrition coach, and prayer counselor in Austin, Texas, he helps others discover the freedom that comes from living authentically with God—body, mind, and spirit.

Theodore's decade-plus journey with dogs includes ten years with three companions (Addie, Buddy, and Blue) and now continues with Teddy, a rescued pit bull. His soft spot for pit bulls runs deep, fueled by a conviction that the breed has been falsely demonized and a desire to reveal their true nature as devoted, affectionate souls.

GOD. DOG.: The Divine Palindrome is his first book, born from the moment a church greeter confirmed what God had been whispering: that the palindrome itself preaches grace. It's perhaps no coincidence that a man with a trinity of names—Theodore (God-given), Theo (to his friends), and Ted (professionally)—found himself writing about a dog named Teddy. The palindrome runs deeper than anyone expected.
